Obituary for Carol Vernon Albritton

Carol V. Albritton, 83, of New Hope, PA, died on Thursday, October 24, 2014, at his home in New Hope, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Carol was raised in a large and loving family where he was one of eight children. He graduated from Central High School in Philadelphia and then entered the US Air Force, serving from 1951 to 1954. A customer service representative in the inside sales division of Panasonic Electronics in Secaucus, NJ, Carol retired in 1995. He lived in New York City and East Orange, NJ, before moving to New Hope 20 years ago. He loved to travel and often wintered in Mexico. Carol was a kind and gracious gentleman who treasured his family and friends. He was especially devoted to his late aunt, Eloise Harris.
Carol is survived by his sisters Ethel Albritton of St. Petersburg, FL and Vivian “Mickey” Scott of Philadelphia; his niece Candace Anderson of Philadelphia and his nephew Kirk Albritton of Woodbridge, Virginia; his dear friends Nadyne and Dimitrius Bell of Philadelphia and an extended circle of family and friends, including his friends at the Raven.
Carol will be entombed at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ. His services will be private.
