Phyllis Ann Fisher, 62, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Hunterdon Medical Center.
Born in Doylestown, Phyllis was a lifelong Lambertville resident. She worked for many years at Belmont Forwarders in Lambertville. Later she was employed at the Ben Franklin Store and Atlantic Springs in Ringoes. Phyllis enjoyed crocheting and baking. She was a generous friend and neighbor, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her many charities included St. Jude’s Hospital and the Disabled American Veterans.
The daughter of the late Oscar “Bud” Fisher and Mary Pearson Fisher, she was the beloved sister of Sherry Fisher of Milford, NJ; Richard (wife Jacqueline) Fisher of Lambertville, Sally ( Sean) Lelie of Lambertville and Craig ( Erica) Fisher of Frenchtown; the loving aunt of 8 and the dear cousin of Michael (Janice) Pearson of Lambertville, Terry ( Bruce) Rock of Ewing and the late Susan Pearson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, at 1 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530. Interment Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery.
