Ralph Cason, 81, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ.

Born in Claxton, Georgia, Ralph was a longtime resident of Lambertville. He worked as a forklift operator for Yale Eaton in Flemington, retiring 16 years ago. Ralph enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a good friend and neighbor and was the first to help whenever assistance was needed. He had a ready smile and a gentle wit.

Ralph is survived by his children Eric Cason (fiancé Bonnie Luca) of Flemington and Vicky Chandler of Riverhead, Long Island; his grandchildren Marquita Baker of Georgia and Morris Chandler of Virginia; his great grandchildren Teziha Chandler, Amaris Baker and Tahiry Baker; his brothers Clifford Johnson of Claxton, Georgia, Rocky Theophlus of Mt. Holly, NJ, Reginald Johnson of Delray Beach, FL, Donald Johnson of Delray, Billy Johnson of Delray, George Johnson of Delray and William Johnson of Miami, FL, his many cousins, nieces and nephews and a special niece Chiron Jayeloa

Ralph was predeceased by his parents Frank Johnson and Maggie L. Harris Cason and his sister Leann McCray.

Funeral services will be held on Friday evening, February 6, at 8 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
