Obituary for Grace Miller Bowlby
Grace Miller Bowlby passed away on May 3, 2015 at Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, NJ. She was 88 years old. Grace was born on June 29, 1926 in Barbertown, NJ, the daughter of the late Lewis and Ethel Miller.
Grace was predeceased by her husband William Bowlby, her 2 sisters Dora Wiseburn and Mildred Haines; 5 brothers Harold, Delbert, Frank, Alton and Thomas Miller and a grandson Michael Bowlby.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sheri and James Chalupa of Ringoes, NJ; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Charlotte Bowlby and their family of Ewing, NJ; 2 sisters Helen Godlewski of Batesburg, SC and Marie Shipp of Morrisville, PA; 1 brother Eugene Miller of Clermont, FL; 2 grandsons, David and Daniel Bowlby and 1 great granddaughter, Sophia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11 am at Sandy Ridge Church, 47 Sandy Ridge Road, Stockton, NJ 08559. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening, May 5, from 7 to 9 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, New Jersey 08530.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sandy Ridge Church, 47 Sandy Ridge Road, Stockton, NJ 08530.
