Audrey Long of New Hope, PA, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, September 7, 2015, due to complications of ovarian cancer and Parkinson’s disease. She was 76.
Born in 1938 to Edna and William Bergesen, Audrey grew up in Denville, NJ with her sister, Barbara. After college, she launched a career in Interior Design. Following marriage to her husband, Bob< and the birth of her two children, she moved to New Hope in 1971. She established her own firm, Audrey Long Interior Design. Audrey donated her talents several times to the annual Doylestown Hospital designer house. She was active in the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and volunteered time to the Michener Art Museum. She loved tennis, yoga, travel abroad and spending time with family and friends. More than anything, Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

Audrey is survived by her husband Robert Long, her daughter Cynthia Ringenary of Doylestown, her son Rob Long of Pennington, NJ, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Her love and generosity has extended to the donation of her remains to research at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.


Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 11 am at the Old Rocks Church of West Amwell, 260 Mt Airy-Harbourton Road, Lambertville (West Amwell Township), NJ 08530.
