Obituary for June Campbell Davis (Stout)


June Campbell Davis, 77, of Barefoot Bay, Florida, formerly of Trenton, NJ and Levittown, PA, died on April 9, 2016 in Saluda, NC.

Born and raised in Trenton, June attended Trenton public schools. She later lived in Bristol and Levittown, PA before moving to Barefoot Bay. With her late husband, Loren Campbell, she owned and operated P and J Auto Body in Levittown. June was a skilled auto body technician. Her love of cars extended to driving competitively. June was an accomplished stock car driver and participated in demolition derbies. She also proudly rode her own Harley Davidson.

June was the wife of the late Loren Campbell and the late Lemuel Davis and the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Mitchell Stout. June was the devoted mother of Loren Campbell of Wilmington, DE, Renoda (Ray) Allan of Saluda, NC, William Campbell of Jim Thorpe, PA, Sherry (Rick) Stuttard of Browns Mills, NJ and Michael Campbell of Hendersonville, NC; she was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the sister of Freddie, Ronnie and Barry Stout, Evelyn Battista and Shirley Kozlowski and the late Jackie Hamilton, Janet LaCour, Ozzie Stout and Tommy Stout. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
