Linda Sue "Sue Kramer"  Winans-Kramer
Linda Sue Winans-Kramer, 69, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Doylestown Health, Doylestown, PA.

Born in Camden, NJ, Sue was a Lambertville resident for 32 years. With her husband, Frank L. Kramer, Jr., she owned and operated Harry K. Kramer and Son Memorials in Lambertville, a business established by Frank’s grandfather in 1897. Sue managed the office, met with clients and, a gifted artist, designed personalized monuments to clients’ specifications. A graduate of Trenton State College, Sue had earlier worked as a special education teacher in the Stockton School District. Sue was a dedicated community volunteer and was active with the Lambertville Office of Emergency Management, the Fleet Wing Hook and Ladder Company # 3 Ladies’ Auxiliary, the Lambertville Town Watch and served as dispatcher # 26 with the Hunterdon County Communications Office. She had many interests. She was an accomplished writer and artist. She published two novels, “Lynette” and “Madison” and wrote extensively on the crisis of domestic violence, winning a journalism award for a series of in- depth articles in the Lambertville Beacon. She was a past member of the Lambertville-New Hope Rotary Club. Sue had an interest in police investigative work. She participated in an FBI training program in criminal investigation and profiling and was a member of the International Association of Forensic Criminologists. For many years she wrote the weekly published reports for the Lambertville Police Department. Sue made and sold handcrafted jewelry. She was a gifted needle worker, knitting, crocheting and spinning yarn. She shared her husband’s love of trains and set up an annual holiday display of standard gauge model trains. Sue was an excellent chef and served as a certified judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society. Together she and Frank made regular trips to Wildwood, Delaware and Lancaster County. Above all, Sue was dedicated to her family and friends.

Sue was the daughter of the late David and Helen Funk Winans and the niece of the late Douglas and Donald Winans. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Frank L. Kramer, Jr.; her sons James Tedesco, his wife Marilyn and their children Faith and Michelle of Philadelphia, PA; Scott Tedesco of Clinton, NJ and Frank L. Kramer, III and his longtime companion Tina Serra of Ringoes, NJ; her aunt Holly Winans of Dover, DE; her cousins George and Leona Fluck of Robbinsville, NJ and her beloved kitties, Che, Roxy and Fluffy.

Funeral services will be private.
