Obituary for Stanley Janiszewski

Stanley Janiszewski, 84, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Buckingham Valley Care Center, Buckingham, PA.

Born in Trenton and raised in Lambertville, Stanley was a Delaware Township resident for 61 years. He owned and operated Stan’s Auto Body from 1964 until his retirement in 2001. He was a gifted auto body technician and was a restorer of classis automobiles, motorcycles and farming equipment. He was an active member of the Shaw Tractor Club, the Blue Mountain Gas and Steam Association, the Nittany Antique Machinery Association and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. With his wife Irene, Stanley traveled in the United States and Europe. The entire family enjoyed the outdoors and being together on camping trips.

He was the son of the late Teofil and Anelia Krasowski Janiszewski and the brother of the late Rose Schible, Benny Janyszewski and Joseph Janiszewski. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Irene Klein Janiszewski; his sons Stanley and his wife Kim of Ewing, NJ, Daniel and his girlfriend Karen of Stockton, Steven and his wife Belinda of Upper Black Eddy, PA and David and his girlfriend Gail of Stockton; his grandchildren Melissa and Stanley of Ewing, Melinda and Danielle of Flemington and Candice and Greg of Kunkletown, PA; his step-grandchildren Christopher DeVito of New York City and Angela Marcus and her husband John of Solebury, PA; his 5 great-grandchildren; his two step-great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 12 noon at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (vhmfh.com). Interment will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 am until the start of services.
