Tilly Alberta Hennig, age 95, of Yardley, formerly of Washington’s Crossing, PA, died peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017.

Born in Ravensburg Germany, to Anton and Maria Hegle Gruber, Tilly came to the US in 1950 and lived in Chicago, IL, Media, PA and had been a longtime resident of Washington’s Crossing, before moving to assisted living in Yardley, PA. She was devoted to her husband Gerhard, who passed in 2004, and was faithful to her parish of St Martin of Tours, in New Hope.

Tilly is survived by extended family in Germany and a treasure of friendships here in the States.

A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Tuesday at St Martin of Tours Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, PA, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ.
