I just heard about Mr. Van Hart’s passing. Without a doubt in my mind and my heart, he was my favorite teacher. He made a big impact in my life, when he was my tutor in my freshman year of Dayton back in 1967. I was in the hospital for a sports injury for a month and he would come to the hospital to tutor me. He always had that huge smile. I am also a teacher, and I know that unconsciously, he played a role in my desire to become a teacher. Blessings to all who loved him, and thank you forever Mr. Van Hart.
