Obituary for Lawrence Thomas "Larry" Williams

Lawrence Thomas Williams of Allentown, PA, returned to the Lord on Friday, June 15, 2018, at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He was 61.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey on May 24, 1957, Larry was the oldest child of Dorothy Mae Johnson Williams and Thomas Louis “Tim” Williams. He was raised in a loving home in Lambertville, NJ, where he was the oldest of five with his three sisters Darlene, Tammy and Geraldine and his brother, Timothy. He attended South Hunterdon Regional High School and continued his education studying business and mechanics. Larry was a hardworking individual. He drove a truck, worked construction and laid asphalt. He was a skilled technician and could fix anything. His family and friends knew that if they needed assistance with a household repair, construction problem and just needed to talk, they could always rely on Larry. His reassuring line was: “Don’t worry about it, Baby.”
He was humble, generous and kind. He was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. Larry was a resident of Allentown for the last 26 years. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Larry was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Denise Davis Williams; his children and their spouses Cara Phillips of Philadelphia; Lawrence T.
