Obituary for James Allen Farlee
James Allen Farlee, 69, of Franklin Twp, NJ, died suddenly, at home, on Friday, May 1, 2015
Born March 13, 1946 in Trenton, NJ, James lived most of his life in Hopewell, before moving to the Flemington area over 20 years ago. He was retired from BJ’s Wholesale Warehouse as a Produce Manager and had also previously co-owned and operated SOHO Pet Supply Store in Flemington with Thomas S. Hope. Together they raised miniature horses on their farm in Pittstown. James will be remembered for his great affection for and defense of animals.
James is survived by his dear parents, Herbert H. and Laura M. (Allen) Farlee of Jobstown, NJ; his brother, and sister-in-law Herbert F. and Ruthann Farlee of Lambertville, NJ; his sister and her husband Deborah A. and Dr. Dennis Fischer of Yardville, NJ; his nephews: Ken Farlee and his wife Kim and Kyle Fischer; nieces: Kelli Fischer and Kristen Ellingham and her husband, Rob; many grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as his dear friend, Susan Gouldy.
He was preceded in death by his life partner and business partner, Thomas S Hope in 2012.
