Lewis Edward Crawley, II was born on June 28, 1968 in Flemington, New Jersey”. He was the son of Lewis Edward Crawley and Madeline Oliver Crawley. Named for his father, the youngster became known to family and friends as “Eddie”. He grew up in a large and loving family. His early years were spent in Flemington and, later, in Washington, NJ.
Eddie graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Bucks County College. As a young man of deep faith, he also took courses in theology. He worked at a stone quarry for many years. From childhood Eddie had a fascination with motor vehicles. He became a skilled mechanic, working on automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles and dirt bikes. He enjoyed hunting and watching sports. He was a former member of the Absalom Jones Masonic Lodge # 109 in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Eddie was a proud father and grandfather.
After a period of serious health problems, Eddie returned to the Lord on May 27, 2015.
Eddie was predeceased by his mother, Madeline Oliver Crawley; his sister Constance Cooper Moore and his brother Curtis Cooper. He leaves to mourn an extended family including his 5 children Vivian Rose Crawley of Levittown, PA; Lewis Edward Crawley III and Dimetrius Xavier Crawley of Shenandoah, PA and their mother Rose; Travis Isaiah Crawley and Ania Madeline Crawley of Louisiana and their mother Erica; his granddaughter Zuri Sinai Jones of Levittown; his father Lewis Edward Crawley I of Levittown; his sisters Vivian A. Crawley of Levittown, and Yvette Crawley of Bensalem, PA; his brothers Richard Rodwell on Newark, NJ, Carl Rodwell of Easton, PA, Jonathan “Rocky” Crawley of Lancaster, PA, Lance Crawley of Philadelphia, and Dusty Thayer of Hopewell, NJ and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
