Mary E. Conn, 70, of New Hope, Pa, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, Pa.

In spite of limitless courage and strength it became clear that Mary would not win her 5-1/2 year battle with a rare uterine cancer. Mary felt grateful for everyone she met at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She referred to her stays there as “visits to The Ritz!”.

Mary felt fortunate to be blessed with her large circle of loving and caring friends. She attributed her strength to “fight the fight” to a dear friend Walter who she believed entered her life for a reason. Mary said her job was her best medicine. Throughout her 36 years at Nottingham Insurance, she developed countless lifelong friendships.

Mary’s faithful and devoted friends live near and far, but as she often said, “when they are in your heart, and you in theirs, they are never far away”.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Conn, her daughter Lisa (David) Mergen, her son Marc Duncan and Lena Gasparyan, and her two loving grandsons Jason and Ryan.

Visitation will be held at Van Horn McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ, on Tuesday evening, April 12th from 6 to 9 pm.

The funeral liturgy will be offered on Wednesday, April 13th at 10:30am at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 44 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ.
