Joan Patricia (Koons) Fleming, 81, of Lambertville, NJ, died peacefully on February 17, 2017.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Joan had been a Lambertville resident for over 60 years. Joan was a dear friend to many and deeply devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret (Seak) Koons; her husband, Richard Fleming, Sr, her son, Timothy Fleming and her sister, Jeanne Montgomery.

Joan was survived by her sons: Michael (Laura) Fleming of Phoenix, AZ and Richard (Kristy) Fleming, Jr of West Amwell, NJ. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Ryan (Stephanie) Fleming and Shannon Fleming and great granddaughter, Carlee Fleming.

The funeral mass will be offered on 10am Wednesday February 22 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 44 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ. Interment will follow at St Martin of Tours Cemetery, New Hope, PA.

Calling hours are 5-8pm Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30-9:30am, at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ.
