Condolences

Condolence From: John M. Davis
Condolence: We just found out about Pam's passing because her Christmas card was returned.

I am at a loss for words knowing that my dear friend Pam is no longer with us. She had the most incredible personality. Her spirit was undeniably great, in spite of all the hardship she suffered throughout her life. She could make me laugh like nobody else.

My partner, Thomas C. Clark, and I will miss her terribly. She never forgot a birthday, an anniversary or any other holiday.

We were privileged to have known her.

Condolence: I remember Pamela so fondly. She came to my 90th birthday and I have been looking back at what she wrote in my guest book all week. I am so sorry to hear of her passing at far too young an age. She will be missed by me and many others.

Condolence: Pamela was one of the first people I met when we moved to Pa. She took me under her wing and we shared many memorable times dancing and laughing, and sharing stories.
She was not just another passing face and will be soo soo very missed by all who knew her. She loved and was loved and will not be forgotten. Her life made a difference.
Always and forever dear Pam. Gone too soon.

Condolence: So saddened to hear that Pamela passed away. She was a remarkable woman - truly one of a kind. Her NYC style and wit was blended with her Southern charm to make her unforgettable to those that had the good fortune to meet her. She had a generous, vivacious spirit and she will be sorely missed.

Condolence: Pamela, more so than anyone I've ever known, knew how to live a life well lived. She lived a life that matters. She in her wisdom and wit knew--that what will matter is not what you've got but what you gave' that what will matter is not your success but your significance; that what will matter is not what you learned but what you taught; that what will matter is not how many you know but how many will feel a lasting loss when you are gone. Her example is a precious gift she gave me, her example is one to which I can only aspire. In the genius of Dr. Seuss I find some solace at the lasting loss I feel for my dear friend and our friendship---"Don't cry because it is over. Smile because it happened.' Dear Pamela, I can't help but smile when I think of you.
