Obituary for Carl Daniel Snell Sr.
Carl Daniel Snell, Sr., was born on December 11, 1960 in Flemington, NJ. The son of Clifford and Minnie McLemore Snell, Carl was raised in Lambertville in a loving household with his two brothers Brian and Clifton. He attended Lambertville Public School and graduated from South Hunterdon Regional High School where he played football and basketball.
Carl was employed at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township where he worked in the mail room. He also worked at the Burlington Coat Outlet. Carl was a big Nascar fan and loved all sports. He was a hard worker and he loved his family.
Carl was sleeping peacefully in his earthly home on May 23, 2019 when the Lord called him to his heavenly home.
Carl was the son of the late Clifford Snell and Minnie McLemore Snell and the brother of the late Brian K. Snell, Sr. He leaves to mourn his children Carla Snell of Rex, Georgia and Carl D. Snell, Jr and his fiance Sarina Sghiatti of Buckingham, PA; his grandchildren Markell Snell, Eliysha Grant and Jeremiah Snell; his brother Clifton D. Snell and his wife Lisa of Houston, TX; his sister-in-law Kim Snell of Ewing, NJ: his aunt Shelia Bellamy and her husband James of Lambertville; his uncle Keith McLemore and his wife Valerie of Elyria, Ohio; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carl Daniel Snell, Sr. will be missed by all his family, friends and co-workers . They will treasure their fond memories of Carl for years to come.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530. Rev. Charlie Moody will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ.
Callings hours at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 12 noon until the start of services.
