Obituary for Bruce John Parent
Bruce J. Parent, long-time resident of Lambertville and more recently of Flemington, died at home April 10, 2020 after a long illness. Bruce was a graduate of South Hunterdon High School and was employed for over thirty years by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission in Trenton, retiring in 2004.
A sports enthusiast, he was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. His other main interest was movies, having amassed a large DVD collection. He also enjoyed music, particularly folk music, and art.
Son of the late John and Dorothy Parent of Lambertville, he is survived by a brother, Keith R. Parent, and several cousins.
A private interment is being arranged by Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home in Lambertville.
