Obituary for Bruce Lee Housel

Bruce L. Housel, 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Born in Doylestown, PA., Bruce was a lifelong resident of the Lambertville/Stockton area. He proudly served in the US Army and was stationed as an MP in Germany. Bruce was a volunteer and assumed leadership positions, of the emergency services in Lambertville and Stockton, including the Lambertville Fire Department, the Stockton Fire Department and the Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad. Bruce was a big man with a big heart. He was an animal lover and adored his white boxer, Buddy. They were inseparable.

Bruce was loving and generous. He was loyal to his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed living life.

Bruce was preceded in death by his loving mother, Audrey Burroughs Housel, his father, Harry C. Housel and his brother Robert ":Robbie" Housel, . He is survived by his sisters Lynn Edwards and her husband Dan, and Susan Housel; his brothers Harry E. Housel and his wife Chris, Wayne Housel and James Housell, his aunts Anna Mary Roberts and Ethel Esposito, his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends..

Committal services with military honors will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:30 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Those attending should gather at the cemetery administration building by 11:15 am
