Obituary for Katherine M. Sheaf
Katherine M. Sheaf,peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family in Three Bridges, New Jersey. She was 70 years old.
Born in Altoona, PA, Katherine was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County. A devoted wife for 54 years, mother and grandmother, she always put her family first. She was a great cook and always ready to set an extra place at the table for company. She was a fan of country music, Hallmark movies, Betty Boop, wind chimes and the color Kelly Green. Kathy had a great sense of humor and was quick to share her contagious laugh with those she loved. She adored working at Valparaiso's Deli in Lambertville for many years which allowed her shining personality to impact all who came through the door.
Kathy was the daughter of the late Leo and Evelyn Rolland Burket. She is survived by her husband Charles J. Sheaf, Jr., her children Charles J. Sheaf III (Melanie) of Flemington, NJ, Katherine Wengryn (Raymond) of East Amwell, NJ, Cassandra Bilicki (Andrew) of Winona, Minnesota and JoannSheaf of Lambertville; her 13 grandchildren; her great-granddaughter; her brothers Thomas Burket of Melbourne, FL and Gary Burket of Fl;emington along with several nieces and nephews. All beloved and very special to Katherine.
She will always be loved, missed and never forgotten.
Calling hours on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 10 am until 12 noon at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
