Obituary for Robert Patrick "Bob" Due

Robert P. Due, 85, of New Hope, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA.

Robert owned and operated Stefon’s Antiques in Lambertville, NJ for 38 years before retiring 3 years ago. His business thrived under Robert’s discerning eye and appreciation for fine craftsmanship. He also had a parallel career in education as a coordinator at New Jersey Institute of Technology (formerly Newark College of Engineering) in Newark, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, Robert grew up in Irvington, NJ. After high school graduation he served in the US Navy. He moved to New Hope 18 years ago after living in Lambertville for 7 years and earlier in Warren, NJ. With his partner Leo he enjoyed antiquing and spending time at the Jersey shore.

He was the son of the late Pasquale and Gladys Buchanan Due. Robert is survived by his life partner of 31 years, Leo Mursky; several cousins and an inner circle of close friends.

The funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 44 Bridge Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530

Interment with military honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick, NJ.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday morning at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (vhmfh.com) from 8:30 am until departure for church.
