Obituary for Robert Henry Sweet Jr.
Robert H. Sweet, Jr., of Stockton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Robert was the son of the late Robert H. Sweet, Sr. and Theresa Symington Sweet of Washington Crossing, PA. He attended Mercer County Community College and Baylor University. He was married to Janet Vislocky Sweet of Whitehouse Station, NJ in July of 1966 until her passing in March 2013.
Robert was an accomplished woodworker and cabinet maker who worked extensively in Philadelphia.
He is survived by his children Matthew J. Sweet and his wife Megan of Bloomfield, NJ and Brina L. Sweet and her husband David Grenyer of Doylestown as well as his grandchildren Eric and Laina Grenyer and Oskar and Isaac Sweet.
Private funeral services were held at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (vhmfh.com).
Due to COVID restrictions extended family and religious services will be held at a future date. Inquires may be made to the funeral home.
