Helen Badiak, 69, of Lambertville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Born and raised in New York City, Helen was a graduate of Hunter College, City University of New York. Helen’s career brought her from New York’s “east village” to Plainsboro, New Jersey, and later to Lambertville over 30 years ago. She was a scientific writer with Bristol Myers Squibb Company in Princeton, retiring 10 years ago after 20 years of service. Helen loved Lambertville. She was active in town, was a member of the Kalmia Club and served on the board of the Mount Hope Cemetery Association. She was a nature lover, enjoyed hiking, gardening, bird watching or just walking into town. She loved animals and was often seen walking her beloved dog, Lucy, who was a successor to her golden retriever, Jefferson, and her two cats, Dante and Olivia.
Helen is survived by her sister Mary, her sister-in-law, two nephews and her cherished friends here and in New York City.
Family funeral services will be held at St. Andrew’s Church and Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Orange County, New York.
