Obituary for Mary Louise Stanford (Heady)
Mary L. Stanford, 71, of Frenchtown, New Jersey, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerset, NJ.
Born in Dover, NJ, Mary was a longtime resident of Frenchtown. She was employed RTS Packaging in Pittstown for over 45 years. Mary also cooked at the Cornerstone Café in Frenchtown. Mary was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Mary loved time with her family, preparing meals, watching her favorite shows or just going for a walk. She worked hard to provide for her family and was always the first to volunteer to assist anyone in need. Mary was a nature lover, especially animals and birds. Sunflowers were a favorite of hers.
Mary was the wife of the late Michael Stanford and the daughter of the late Walter and Louise Damiano Heady. She is survived by her daughters Jessica Akers and Tina Slack and her granddaughters Danielle Corey, Kayla Corey and Olivia Slack all of Phillipsburg and her sister and brother-in-law Jennie and Robert Limero of Freehold, NJ, her step-children, and her many friends who became part of her family.
A private service and memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.
