Obituary for Margaretta Jean Roy
Margaretta Jean Roy passed away on December 7, 2022 after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. She is now at peace and back in the comfort of her late parents Leonard and Peggy England.
Margaretta retired in 2018 after working as a Bridge Officer for 35 years with the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. She was also a longtime member of the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
Margaretta is survived by her husband Rich, her son Richard, her sisters Carolyn Potts and May Lou Henney along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, December 21, 2022 at 8 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad services will be held at 7:30 pm that evening.
There will be calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, from 5 pm until the start of services
