Obituary for Meritta Elizabeth Thompson (Gorman)

Meritta Elizabeth Thompson, of Lambertville, NJ, died on December 15, 2022 at the Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell, NJ. She was 66 years old.

Born and raised in Hamilton, NJ, Meritta lived in Pennington before coming to Lambertville four years ago. She was a phlebotomy technician, working for Quest Diagnostics in Ewing. Meritta was a dedicated wife and mother and especially loved sharing the holidays with those she loved. Meritta also was an animal lover.

She was the wife of the late George Thompson, the daughter of the late Raymond and Erma Mills Gorman and the sister of the late Lee Gorman and Carl Gorman. Meritta is survived by her daughter Kelly Kascik of Frenchtown, her son William Thompson of Pennington; her sisters and their husbands Cecile and Ken Frank of Richboro, PA and Loretta and Allen Padulchick of Cream Ridge, NJ; her brother Gary (wife Dee) of Hamilton; her sister-in-law Mary Gorman of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews and her close friend Bob Saganski of Lambertville.

There will be calling hours on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1 pm until 3 pm at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.

There will be a service at the funeral home at 2 pm.
