June was a bright light at St. Andrew's church, Lambertville. She was the one who organised a group of us to lemon-oil the woodwork in the chancel, wood that was going white with dryness. June knew books that I had read in my childhood, which was a delight, because they were pretty off the beaten path. When she was in the Clare house, I was so glad to see that she knew exactly who she was and was able to be herself. It was a lovely last visit that I had with her. She loved her family so much! Her presence at St. Andrew's has been missed, but I know we are all so grateful to have had her in our lives.
