As I opened the paper this morning I could not believe that my friend Matt had died at such a young age. I have not spoken to him since high school. We were in the band together at Kiski Area High School. I am not surprised to read the important things Matt has done and accomplished in his life. I remember that I was having trouble in geometry my sophomore year and Matt took the time to help me. He did not have to do that, but that was the kind of guy Matt was. All these years later I still remember his help and the fun times we had in the band together. My condolences to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.
