Judy & The Tarosky Family, I want to send my sincere condolences to all of you on the passing of Matthew. I have known Matt for almost 20 years and we became especially close during our ten years of collaboration at FDA/CDRH. During that time, I always knew Matt to be a stand-up guy with a passion for public service. He was a model PHS Officer that inspired many junior officers. Although a private and serious person, he also had an amazing sense of humor and it sometimes caught people off-guard. Personally, he served as my Deputy Director, but I always viewed him as the co-Director. Matt was the backbone of our team and a major contributor to its many successes. He was everything you would want in a colleague and then some. We will all miss him dearly.... Sincerely, Michael
